Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father comes from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at her job. As a young kid, she made the rounds in various commercials. Anna moved to Toronto Ontario in order in order to pursue acting. In the decade which followed, she moved in Los Angeles. She came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April of 2011 the couple renewed their wedding vows with a Jewish ceremony. Bo's same-sex relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in the list of CNN's all-time favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The show's success has led to Anna amassing a significant online following on social media.
