Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, she had lots of goals. She was raised by a mom who loved watching films. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities, and drama was her favorite. Her favorite part was being in stage shows along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous chances to perform during her high school years and she chose acting as a career. As a student in a summer camp in the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She received a 3-month contract to make documentaries on PBS. After completing the assignment, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. In the following years, she transitioned to producing documentaries. While she was awed by what she did however, she always wanted acting roles. She began her journey into acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
