Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson (born in 1961) was a famous American actor. Beginning her professional career as a child actor and model, Elson is most likely best known for her TV roles as Alice Tyler on the CBS science fiction series . Andrea auditioned to play the lead in ALF, the 1986 hit show. She was a finalist. Andrea was a part of a variety of successful TV shows, and also Movies of the Weekly for many more years before she left the industry to focus on her family. ALF came during a particularly turbulent period for Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of the sitcom-viewing audience was a challenge. Green-eyed Elson was born in New York City on March 6th, 1969. She grew to be an actor who traveled the world because her father had a job as an executive in advertising. Andrea was already a resident of New York and Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea had her first successful audition San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco explained that ALF was a tycoon aged 285 and could drink beer. NBC warned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking in front of children as it would be a bad model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to not drink and drive was wrong. In 1995, Fusco was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was treated successfully and the disease remained in remission until 2019. The Lillian Booth Actors Home of Englewood in New Jersey, on the 26th of June, 2019, he passed away from this disease at 75.
