Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, a Mormon from the Church of the Latter-Day Saints' original family was able to combine her writing skills with her impressive researching skills to write the dazzling, psychohistorical book"No Man knows My History, which was published in 1945. That title was taken from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled the congregation with his words"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. My history is not known to anyone. Nobody knows my story. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment there have been at least three writers who took on the task. Numerous have accused him of being a liar, and others have glorified him. A couple have even tried their hand with a diagnosis made by a doctor. It's not so much that the documents are insufficient, the issue is that they're in complete contradiction. This is the task--to separate the original account from the plagiarism of third parties and then to integrate Mormons' narratives with non-Mormons in the context of a credible historical narrative. This is exciting as well as instructive. FawnBrodie was able to take on this professional challenge. Her work in research and writing brought her fame around the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. The Personal Story of Richard Nixon (1974), in posthumously.
